What a pleasure eating at this hidden treasure. It has a causal feel and a welcoming ambiance. Comfy high backed bar stools, tiled floors and padded chairs at the tables is such a nice change from all the trendy industrial themed diners out there. My lunch companion and I both enjoyed our choices and washed them down with an ice cold brew at the bar. On this visit I ordered the small shrimp Po boy, onion rings and a Shiner on tap. The bread was perfect, shrimp was tender with a light crispy coating and they dressed it just the way I wanted it. The onion rings had just the right amount of breading to onion and they were cooked perfect. For me a small Po Boy and onion rings was more than enough food.
We were greeted promptly by a very cheerful server who was the only one serving during the late afternoon. She had two tables going, the bar was filled with regulars and yet she never missed a beat. This is now my favorite place to enjoy a shrimp Po boy and I can't wait for my next visit. -

This is my go to spot for a poboy! They always deliver high quality food, fast and friendly service. The food is truly impeccable. Rocco's is a hidden gem.

Egh. I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews and seeing the menu. We got 2 small roast beef poboys, a basket of fries and 2 drinks and it was over $30. Kinda pricey for the amount of food we got. The poboy wasn't anything special and the "basket" of fries was more like a small serving plate of fries and it was $7.50!!!

If you are in Baton Rouge and you want a po -boy, look no further! This place is miles above the rest. Try the ridiculously messy roast beef and you might be back for more the next day. Don't leave without trying the bread pudding. If you're really hungry get the cheese fries with everything and you may never eat anywhere else.

FINALLY, I'VE FOUND A GREAT POBOY SPOT IN BATON ROUGE!!!!
No seriously, I'm from New Orleans and I am incredibly picky and weary when people tell me "Oh this place has great poboys!!" and the poboys are nothing special.
I actually learned about this place through the Waitr app, my coworker wanted to do a group order at 4:00 since we both missed lunch at work, I agreed to join the order and she chose the spot. Keep in mind she's never had Rocco's before so this was a new experience for the both of us.
She got the Caesar salad (which I got the second time I ordered through the app and it's to die for) and got a shrimp poboy, I was hoping it'd be good and I had high hopes for this place, and this place met my expectations and more. My poboy (in my opinion) was a good portion of tasty goodness, the price was a bit on the high side for a poboy, but it worth every penny!
Rocco's didn't disappoint, when I tell you I will continue to order through waitr and go on in a will.
